In the continued effort to help those in need, the Realtors of Royal Pacific Realty have made presentations today totaling nearly $10,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Tsunami Relief Campaign and to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver’s Realtors Care Endowment Fund, at BC’s Children’s Hospital. “When the Tsunami hit, Royal Pacific Realtors were amongst the first to provide financial support” said Sing Yeo, Sr. Vice President of Royal Pacific. “The initial donations were sent immediately in December. Today, we are presenting a cheque to the Red Cross for an additional $4,200.” Yeo has been a champion of local fund raising efforts in the Realtor Community, and has chaired the Realtors Care Night Annual Fund Raiser for several years. Andrew Peck, Real Estate Board President and General Manager of Royal Pacific accepted the cheque for $5,000 for the Realtors Care Endowment Fund on behalf of the Real Estate Board. “The ongoing efforts of Royal Pacific Realtors to help their communities have been outstanding. Over the past few of years, our members have donated over $150,000 to The Realtors Care Endowment Fund for Oncology and Genetics.” “My dream is to have a Realtors Care Foundation established across Canada to focus the efforts of Realtor giving in the country” said Yeo. “We know Realtors are generous people, and they care about their communities.
